Angie and Corey are a very easy going couple who like to keep planning simple. When you plan a wedding it can easily get overwhelming and stressful. They wanted to plan their wedding to include as many friends as possible doing the “jobs”. The first ceremony for a newly ordained friend, who was also a part of the wedding party – double duty for him! The DJ did Angie’s brother’s wedding, they have known him for years. Family members helped make special traditional deserts for the desert bar. Flowers were artfully arranged by the bridesmaids who were happy to have a creative part in the wedding day. Unique images at a local distillery because the owner opened just for them to come in and have photos. Everything from start to finish had a personal Angie – Corey touch making the wedding extra special. We, as family, were extra excited to work with this couple all day taking photos! Capturing the fun St. Louis style images in Forest park, Busch stadium and Still 630 while trying to stay dry. Yep – it was raining, windy and cold. However the happy spirit of these two made it feel like 100 degrees. I couldn’t believe that despite the soaking wet dresses, wind in the face and freezing temps both Angie and Corey had a smile all day. Sideways rain wasn’t going to stop them from getting married so why let it stop them from having a wonderful day. They even stood in the rain to get a few photos on the field at Busch stadium! Luckily there was some time to warm up and dry off before the ceremony. After some touching personal vows while being surrounded by family these two were married! For two people that don’t like to be the center of attention they did a wonderful job of planning a very personal wedding with all attention on them that everyone will remember forever!
