Its not often that we get called to take photos for a couple’s anniversary, but what better way to celebrate such a wonderful occasion? With how busy life can get from career obligations, house projects, and events with family and friends, the time can pass quickly. An anniversary is a great time for some updated photos to look back on your years together. Rob and Laura are celebrating their 10-year anniversary and decided to mark the day with a photoshoot. They chose Tower Grove Park and ended up with a beautiful Saturday filled with sunshine and a park in full bloom! They definitely wanted to take advantage of all the color that was available, especially the freshly blooming tulips. There were lots of other families at Tower Grove to enjoy the wonderful spring weather as well, but we managed to find some spots that weren’t as crowded. We got lots of wonderful photos of Rob and Laura together and also made sure to get some individual shots of them as well. While we walked around we talked about what else they had done to celebrate their anniversary. They had a fun-filled weekend, including going to a Blue’s hockey game and a pottery class, which is how Rob originally proposed! We also had a fun time talking about all the different places they have lived because of Rob’s job. But eventually when they moved to St. Louis, Rob and Laura knew they had found their favorite place!
Before we finished up we quickly drove to a quieter spot in the park to try and find of of Laura’s favorite spots, a path with a willow tree. Unfortunately the willow tree was still pretty bare, but we did find a beautiful flowering magnolia to finish up our session. Congratulations to Rob and Laura on 10 great years together, here’s to many more for this wonderful couple!
