Courtney and Steven came in to our office looking for a photographer that would enjoy a relaxed outdoor wedding, someone able to capture all the small moments on such a big day. They had some unique ideas for their wedding and wanted to be sure the photographer was someone that would understand and have fun. We were a perfect fit! We were so excited to hear about all the special touches they had planned for the day. We met a few hours before the ceremony so they could have a first look. The event took place at Cliff Cave Park which is a beautiful location for photos. They had picked out a perfect spot for the first look with a great view. The pictures were so great and we just got started! The original plan was to hike up to the top of the hill however due to some construction we had to stay near the bottom, it really didn’t matter because the views were still amazing. They had such a nice day – sunny and warm, but breezy in the shade. After working through the family photos it was time for the ceremony. We learned one important thing about their relationship – persistence. The personal vows were so similar showing just how perfect for each other these two really are. While we finished up group photos after the ceremony the guest were encouraged to enjoy some yard games. Yep, that’s what I said, yard games! All sorts of things to play such as a giant jenga and corn hole (made by the couple). It was such a relaxed event that we were honored to be a part of because it got even better when the couple did a sack race. There was a little bit of interference during the race from Courtney’s dad, he wanted to make sure she won, but I’m not sure she needed any help A beautiful sunset, extraordinary moon and a special gum ball machine he used to propose are only a few of the hundreds of photos we took. Courtney and Steven had a wonderful event with perfect memories.
