Jessica and Sam were such a fun couple to work with throughout the whole wedding process. They knew about our services because she went to high school at a place we have been photographing for many years. Also her dad works there so we keep in touch throughout the school year regularly. When Jessica got engaged they gave us a call to see what options we had for wedding photography. They quickly selected an unlimited time package so they didn’t have to worry about anything on the wedding day. The couple also wanted to add a fun element to the wedding by having a photo booth at the reception. During the engagement session they were a bit cold because we had to squeeze it in while they were in town for a weekend in October. It happened to be a very chilly day but they made it through and the photos were great. The engagement session gives us a chance to get to know the couple a bit more before the wedding day. However we could see that when they were around family and friends they were much more comfortable. They laughed, joked and thoroughly enjoyed every moment of the day. An August wedding could be warm but while we were taking park photos it wasn’t too terrible so we were able to wander around the park a bit more. One of my favorite moments is while I was taking a photo of the groomsmen I asked the bridesmaids to head over to a bridge. Well they took the great opportunity to stand on the bridge and photo bomb the boys photos. It was great! That was the feel of the entire day, just a fun group enjoying the day together. This theme carried on into the reception where Jessica and Sam did a mix-mash dance for their first dance together. These two are definitely not the type to slow dance while everyone watches. It was so much fun being at a wedding were we know lots of the guest and we also get to have a blast working with the bride and groom. I’m sure we will see lots of dad around school but we hope Jessica and Sam come in town to visit us too.
