Lizzy wanted a photographer that would be relaxed on the wedding day, help with the best time schedule and capture special moments. We fit that description perfectly! With the ceremony and reception in the same location we needed to make sure to get in time for family photos but also have fun with the wedding party. When talking about the timing it was decided the best option was to do all separate photos prior to the ceremony. We met the girls at the hotel for a few getting ready images then headed over to the venue. A beautiful golf course location, Tapawingo, gives ample opportunity for photo locations. We started photos with the girls which would then give them time to freshen up and relax before the start of the event. Dealing with some wind was a bit of an issue when it came to hair and the veil but we made it work. We would take wind on a beautiful day in July over 100 degree temperature with no air movement any day! Brendan and the boys were all laughs while we did their photos, it kept us quite entertained! Of course we had to play a little golf before we were done. As the ceremony began the wind picked up again blowing Lizzy’s veil all around – she took it out and kept going. No worries from this bride! Lizzy and Brendan pretty much posed themselves the rest of the day. We gave them so positions but really their interactions made the photos amazing. We had such a great time out on the golf course with the wedding party. We could have taken photos all evening since it was so nice outside and they were a great bunch to work with. However everyone was eager to get to the reception. The guests were surprised by a unique first dance which totally showed of the personalities of this great couple. They just wanted to have fun – that’s exactly what they did! Finishing off the night with ice cream and sunset photos made a perfect day for Lizzy and Brendan. We are happy to have been a part of this amazing celebration.
