Mary came into the studio ready to work with us for her wedding day. She had been planning many things all at one, with her fiancé, Kendall, away at basic training she wanted to get as many things done as possible so she could relax. As we talked about the details and location, Chaumette Vineyard, we knew that we would be a perfect match. She said she needed someone to tell her exactly what to do and how to pose. She photographs so beautifully that pretty much anything she did looked nice. But we are more than happy to help each and every bride of our look her best on her wedding day using perfectly relaxed positions. We were scheduled to do an engagement session just a few days before the wedding because that would be the only time Kendall would be back in the area. He didn’t make it back in time so sadly we had to cancel. He actually barely made it in time for the rehearsal. He made the dinner portion but missed the actual rehearsal. That gave Kendall a bit more stress on the wedding day because he was unsure of where to stand or what to do. However a first look with Mary – seeing her, taking great photos with her probably made much of his concerns fly away as well. We had a few hours before the ceremony to do all the photos but honestly I could have taken photos of this group forever. Mary and Kendall were amazing to work with, they have hundreds of perfect photos on the most perfect day in August. We were able to give everyone a moment to relax before the ceremony started. This gave us a chance to get to know the family a bit more – just wonderful people! Each element of the wedding was just as it should be making the photos extra special. They will have these memories forever – so happy we were able to be a part of this couple’s lives.
