Morgan and Jorden met us at a wedding show after hours of visiting various vendors. The decided to set up a time to come into the office and have a closer look at the wedding albums. A more personal consultation is a great way to get to know us. The photographer is one of the people you will be spending the most time with on the wedding day so you want it to be someone you get along with very well. They were having a wedding in one location so didn’t need too much time or an unlimited package. We were able to customize a package for them, giving them exactly what they needed for the wedding day.
After getting to know them during the engagement session we were very excited to work with them on the wedding day. With a later ceremony time we didn’t meet up with Morgan until 4pm. The morning of the wedding as I was doing some things around the house it started to rain. However by the time we got settle at the venue the threat of rain was gone. It made everyone very happy because the ceremony was set for outside and the Larimore House is such a great venue for outdoor photos! Morgan was on time, got dressed quickly and ready for photos. It was great to get everything done with the girls first so they could go inside cool off and refresh before the ceremony. We laughed with Jorden as we took photos with the boys. However he had tears in his eyes when he saw Morgan for the first time. It was such a special moment that we are honored we were there to share with them – and capture for memories of course! The wedding party was happy to work quickly for photos, laughing and having fun together as we moved our way to the reception room. It was a bit humid outside so everyone was ready to get inside to start the party. A special family gift from grandma topped off the night with family and friends. These two have known each other since grade school which is why it was so easy to see they are a perfect match. Sadly they now live away from St. Louis, but we hope to have the opportunity to work with them again someday!
